39th Annual Gem and Mineral Show

April 18th and 19th 2009

and Blood Drive April 18th 2009

This year's show will host more than a dozen vendors from Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Each vendor will have on display a wide arrange of items for sale in the gemstone / lapidary supply arena. Such items include:

	Gemstones: Semi precious to precious
	Geodes: Whole, Sliced & Cross Sections.
	Lapidary Supplies: Books, tools, tumblers & supplies.
	Crystals & Crystal Jewelry.
	Jewelry: Rings, bracelets, & necklaces, in silver & white / yellow gold
	Tools: Tumblers & cave exploration.
	Specialty jewelry: Southwestern silver, turquoise / oriental.
	Oddities: Petrified wood, fossils, geological formations.

The vendors donate items to be given out as door prizes. At the top of every hour, an admission ticket stub is drawn and a prize is given to the lucky holder!

So be sure to hold onto your admission stub. Good Luck!

And remember to come hungry. Our Lions Club features a fantastic food stand inside the show. Our menu includes:

Hot Dogs (Plain, sauerkraut, or Chili)

Potato Pierogies

Chili by the bowl

Clam Chowder (New England and Manhattan Style)

Beef BBQ Sandwiches

Doughnuts and assorted pastries.

Wet bottom Shoo-Fly pies

Assorted cakes (sold by the slice and whole)

Coffee, Tea and Hot Coco

Bottled Water

Coke (Diet and Regular), Sprite, Sunkist, Barq's

Pepsi (Diet and Regular)

Hours of Admission: Saturday 10 AM to 5PM / Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM

Cost of Admission: $6.50 for Adults / $5.50 for Students and Seniors. Children under 12 admitted for free.

SVLC 2009 6th ANNUAL GEM SHOW

BLOOD DRIVE

On Saturday, April 18th, our Lions club in cooperation with Miller / Keystone Memorial Blood Center will be holding a blood drive during the Gem Show.

The blood drive will also be located at the Saucon Valley High School. Please use the same entrance as for the Gem Show. Just mention at the door that you are here to donate blood.

Donation hours will be from 10:30 AM - 4 PM on April 18th. We currently have opening for both pre-registered and walk ins.

Anyone who donates blood will be given a free pass to the Gem Show!

From Interstate 78 (Points North):

Take Route 412 South

Proceed through Hellertown

At Walnut and Main Street (Eckard Drug store on right) Make a left onto Walnut St.

At the stop sign (Walnut and Constitution), make a right into the High School Complex

Proceed straight through the next two stop signs.

Make a right onto Academic Way.

The gym will be on the right, look for the SVLC Gem Show sign.

From Route 378 (Points West):

Take Seidersville Road East toward Hellertown.

Seidersville Road Turns into Friedensville Road at Traffic Light. Proceed straight through light.

After entering Hellertown, make a right at the traffic light onto Main Street (Main & Water St)

Proceed on Main Street (Route 412 South) to 2nd traffic light.

At Walnut and Main Street (Eckard Drug store on right) Make a left onto Walnut Street

At the stop sign (Walnut and Constitution), make a right into the High School Complex

Proceed straight through the next two stop signs

Make a right on Academic Way.

The gym will be on the right, look for SVLC Gem Show sign.
